There are some wedding days that simply feel easy—in the best possible way. The kind of day where nothing feels rushed, every smile is genuine, and you can tell that everyone present is exactly where they want to be.

That was Emma and Davis's wedding.

Surrounded by the people who love them most, these two celebrated the beginning of their marriage with a timeless ceremony at The Village Chapel in Pinehurst, followed by an elegant reception at The Country Club of North Carolina. Every part of the day reflected who they are: joyful, intentional, and completely present with one another.

A Morning Filled with Excitement

The morning began with the quiet excitement that only a wedding day can bring.

There were happy tears while getting ready, laughter echoing through the room, and countless little moments shared with family and friends that often become some of the most cherished memories from the day.

These slower moments are some of my favorites to document. They're the moments that often go unnoticed in real time but become incredibly meaningful when you look back years later.

A Ceremony Full of Emotion

The Village Chapel provided the perfect setting for Emma and Davis to exchange their vows.

As Emma made her way down the aisle, every eye was on her—but it was Davis's reaction that stole the moment.

There is something incredibly special about witnessing two people realize that after months (or years) of planning, this is finally it. Every glance, every smile, every tear told the story of a love that was deeply rooted and ready for this next chapter.

Their ceremony was heartfelt, emotional, and beautifully centered around what truly mattered: the commitment they were making to one another.

Celebrating Their New Beginning

After officially becoming husband and wife, we spent time wandering around Pinehurst for portraits.

I never want portraits to feel like a photoshoot. Instead, I want couples to have a chance to slow down, breathe, and simply enjoy those first few moments together as newlyweds.

Emma and Davis did exactly that.

They laughed, held each other close, shared quiet conversations, and soaked in every second before heading off to celebrate with their favorite people.

Those are always the photographs that become favorites—the ones that feel less like poses and more like memories.
