I’ve had the honor of documenting Sara and her family over the last few years, and capturing her second pregnancy felt especially meaningful. There’s something incredibly powerful about watching a family grow and being trusted to preserve those moments as they unfold. This session wasn’t just about celebrating new life — it was about honoring the journey that brought them here.
A Soft, Natural Maternity Session in the Fields
The open fields at the North Carolina Museum of Art Park provided the most serene backdrop for Sara’s maternity session. With wide open space, gentle movement, and soft natural light, the setting allowed the focus to stay exactly where it belonged — on connection, anticipation, and quiet joy.
We let the session unfold slowly. No rushing. No stiff posing. Just intentional moments that felt honest and true to this season of her life.
